16T front sprocket

Has anyone fitted a 16t front sprocket ? What difference does if make to revs? Just wondering iff I would need to change it back to standard before a trip into Europe?

I have not swapped the 17t for a 16t on this bike (but on a TL1000S).
The difference is about 6% increase in rpm (in any given gear).
The math: (1/17)*100=5.88235....

I changed to 16/46 with a 190/55 rear tyre so 7% lower gearing overall.

I found it much better overall but a little buzzier on fast roads and it meant that I hit the rev limiter in 6th gear

I installed the vortex 16t sprocket it helps lowering my cruising rpm not having the rubber damping hasn't affected noise and the bike still pulls like a bull I got the part# from another post it's meant for gsxr750

Gearing ratio as follows by changing front sprocket:

Stock = 2.58

18T front = 2.44
16T front = 2.75

Higher the ratio number more acceleration lower the ratio number less acceleration. Higher the number more rpm's lower the number less rpm's at speed.

Me personally I just changed the rear to a 2015 OEM GSX-R750 525 45T rear sprocket and I like that better than messing with the front sprocket. By doing this it shortened that ridiculously long wheelbase Suzuki stuck on this bike. Reduced it by 3.5 mm at the rear axle. This final ratio is not that extreme at 2.64

So the stock gearing is 44t rear and 17t front?

Do you any of you guys ever go to a smaller chain 520 conversions?

Do you notice any thing different with a 520 conversion? I hear that switching to a 520 from a 530 or 525 can slightly increase acceleration. Is that true?
