I'm thinking soap and water, there is a clear coat over the paint.

Clean it as normal and use a polish/wax specifically for matt finish paint.
Both Motul and Autoglym make it that I'm aware of. Follow the instructions on the can. Regular polish/wax/protection or too much of the matt stuff will fill the miniscule texture of the paint and leave it sort of glossy and very patchy.

DONT use wax or polish. If you rub on it you will get shiny spots. We use Walmart speed wax spray for a quick wipe down with micr fibre .
