2005 gsxr 1000 header, fitment?

does anyone know if the 2005 headers from a gsxr 1000 fit the gsx-s 1000 .since they share the same engine.

the gsxrk7 header will fit the ports, as our cyl head is the same, i havent tried to fit one, it does have alot longer headers, to suit longer duration cams

i have examined both heads, they are interchangable with gsxs, the k7 head had larger ex ports, reshaped inlets, titanium valves and doesnt have front mt of the k5/6.

K, so k7 header would be ‘better’ ... good info! but I suppose the k7 header has the same fitment issue as the k5-6? I.e does not clear our sump and oil cooler?

oil pan part numbers are identical for the 2007 gsxr1000 and the gsxs1000. should clear. at that point it is if it will clear the rad/rad fan.

the more i look at everything are engine have WAY more in common with the 2007-2008 gsxr than the 05-06 gsxr...
