Bar End Mirrors

I have these just in now, no installation instructions.

seems simple but want to know if you guys have any advice or what to watchout for when installing these things

my question was do I take out all the original bar end stuff? the rubber inside and that bolt/screw thing?

It's pretty straight forward. Be wary with the cheaper bar end mirrors, they can be hard to tighten (it will spin inside the bar instead of tightening). Best advice is to be very patient and tighten it as much as you can before inserting into the bar end.

My bar end mirrors are a little different to yours.

I did use the original internals for as jeffro says it stops the mirror spinning on the bar, the longer bolt grips the bar in two places and over a greater distance.

The problem i had was the head of the original bolt would not fit through the the bar end hole that the mirror stalk fits to.A cap head bolt i had lying around solved the problem.

I got mine on using their pieces they sent but I had to invert the outer piece that gets wider as you screw, so far it holds, just gotta see after a morning ride if it stills hold up in wind & bumps
