Yes, I remember PP changed the back light of his speedo which entailed soldering in new LEDs. He did post a thread about it. Will have to search

I'm always doing something to my bike, I thought I was out of mods to do.....now I have another one, thanks Brapp

In the video when he turns the film it looks like you can get red, blue, black backgrounds. I have red accents on my bike, may have to see how the red looks in daylight....I'm sure it would look bad ass at night in red but I don't ride at night (too many deer around here)

Anyone find the film yet? Where to order? I guess OP doesn't have the info, since he has not been back. (I have not yet searched)

Search for "polarizing sheet" on eBay or Amazon.

FWIW, the glass that's used on most LCDs is super thin and fragile. A bit of heat might come in handy when trying to remove the film...

Here we go, new project! I just ordered the Polarizing Sheet (from EBay, 2nd link). Looks like what the OP was talking about. Would love to have a black background with white digits on my dash! ****! I just realized it looks like same thing for cheaper on Amazon!

Looking forward to seeing your results. Something I'd consider.. i do like the bright white in low light conditions though.

I wouldn't worry about the few dollars extra you paid for the material. I'm sure plenty of us would have paid $100 for the option If it were factory. I would have paid even more for a colour tft dash

Well, I realized I bought the wrong film, too late already shipped. Ignore the links above. After thinking about it, I remembered the film in the You Tube video has one side with adhesive, these do not. Search continues....

I hope this is the correct film, one side has adhesive

Ebay China seller offers in both gloss of matte, I ordered gloss, as you can surmise I really like this mod idea as I think looks super cool. Delivery will take a while, so good bye for now!.
