I rode in the evening yesterday at dusk, I don't like it. The white numbers are not bright enough - too faint, as if a back light bulb is burnt out. I really only look at the gear number and speed, but had to look longer and more often to read it.

When I installed the film, I rotated it like in the video to obtain the blackest background.

I have yet to ride in sunlight, but initial impression is I'm going back to stock.

Edit: Rode after dark, easy to see the digits and looks great. But 90% of my riding is in daylight, so will go back to stock.

If you're a "night rider" you'll love it

Do you have any pictures of it? I'm just having a hard time getting the mental image of it!

My bad, thanks Rapido. It does look really cool. It'd be nice on my Z model too... Too bad it's hard to see in daylight.

Thanks for your feedback on how you found it too!

I found daylight glare affects the stock setup as well, especially with the tinted visor. I'll most likely tackle this in the offseason.

Well, using the polarized film, I just put it back to stock. However, might be my imagination, but I think it now looks better than stock, ie, sharper and clearer digits than before.
So, at least I tried a cool mod, but decided stock is better. Gee ... I wonder who here would agree!
