GSX-S1000 Dash Inversion Mod

I found this on a Japanese post. I've done this on other bikes so i thought I'd share it here to show how it would look when you change the polarization in the stock dash. I must say, it is way easier to read the rather busy dash.

Perfect example of how to do this. Very easy to do. 3M is best company to get the adhesive polarized sheet.

Total would cost 5-12 usd

I want it! But the MF doesn't say where to order the film in his video? "hard contrast LCD linear polarizer" I have to search now. Don't know if our GSX speedo can be disassembled the same way (most likely can) nor does ours have the factory film to remove first. One would think the Japanese LCD displays are all made similar.

The OP hasn't responded to tell us how he did it, so waiting.

Next project!

Can you tell us exactly the name with 3M? What to look for? Is it "hard contrast LCD linear polarizer"?

P/Paul replaced the LED's in his, so it is vaguely possible he put a story on his site or a post here somewhere way back in the past.
