Average fuel reading

I don't suppose too many people who bought this bike will have "fuel economy" foremost in their minds. However just for the sake of information I would point out how accurate I have found the bike computer.
Over the first 500 miles I have averaged 55mpg, the meter has always been within + - 2mpg of this. Almost all riding done on open country roads.

On last weekend trip to Croatia (Senj) i meet a couple there. She was riding GSX-S1000 and the guy Tuono V4. They said the same about fuel consumption. "her bike needs around 6l mine needs almost 12 l/100km.

That is one of the reasons I am buying the bike. Test rode 4 bikes ad all indicated between 52 and 57 miles. Test rode one bike filled to the brim and did about 100 miles on it. Indicated mpg was 56 and measured mpg was 53mpg . Not bad I don't think?

Economy didn't even cross my mind but it'll be nice to get more than 120 miles from a tank

Mpg?
All I can say/contribute is that my Gixxus computer shows 4.3 l/100km on current tank.
And have averaged 4.4 l/100km since I bought it according to the bikes computer.
The bike's computer is a little pessimistic as it shows a percent or two over what I can calculate from tripmeter and fuel added when filling up.
This is one of the (many) good things about this bike.
The engine runs very "lean"/uses little fuel combined with excellent power/performance.
My "numbers" also reflect that I drive *on roads*

2018 - Speed Triple S
2015 - GSX-S1000
2009 - B-King 1441
