Bloody wheel stickers!

Had the bike serviced today and picked up some goodies.
Seat cowl looks good although black would be better.
Heel protectors ok but not quite the same as advertised on website.
Wheel stickers... good god why couldn't they supply these in at least
1/4 sections and not bloody 1/3. And I was expecting a separate rim tape
and 1 GSX-S logo. I took the front wheel off to do it and it still looks crap.
It's really hard to line up properly and when you stick it down once that's it, it's a pig to straighten out. And with the extra logos on the inside of the rim it looks tacky anyway.
My advice, get some reflective tape or wait till someone on eBay sells the rim stickers with the one log.

Same question to ackack. To me the seat cowl looks like hard black plastic which I was going to have painted in either black or red to match. Also, what's up with the heel plate stickers? Pictures please!

I'd say the cowl is more grey than black. And the heel guards don't cover all the side like the picture on website does. Pictures will be up by the weekend hopefully, bike is in pieces again as I'm getting as much as the zinc plated parts replated as I can.

There is a trick with stickers. Use a spray bottle of water with a few drops of dish soap. Spray lightly on the wheel and then place the sticker. The sticker can then be moved around until the water dries. You could also go with an application fluid like this:

. I would go with a professional fluid.

Thanks for the tip Gixxus I will definitely try that when I get some more.
I really don't like the look of the stickers at all and I'm going to be returning the other set soon. Trying to go for minimalist look.
