Holes in undertail after fender eliminator install

Hey guys,

Just installed my generic everyday fender eliminator on my new 2016 GSXS 1000. I noticed that there's 2 holes in the undertail where the plate mounts up that exist after you remove the old fairing. I was wondering what you guys are doing to close these holes so that no water goes up into the storage compartment. One of the holes I ran the turn signal and plate light wire thru. Any help on how to close these holes would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
