GSXS accessories availability in US

extremely frustrated by the lack of aftermarket accessories available for the GSX-S1000F here in the US. Specifically Windshield options. Ive reached out to both MRA and PUIG and the so called partners they point me to know nothing about how to order a shield for this model. WTF!!!! Honestly blame Suzuki USA for not promoting this GSXS line better to various aftermarket companies.

It just seems like this bike hasn't been selling to well. There has been an F model sitting at a dealer by me since the fall, another dealer has both an F and the naked since the fall and I've purchased the only bike in my region. From what they've told me, kind of cool to have the only one. If the bike isn't selling then companies aren't going to develop parts that won't sell.

Plenty of discussion on this board about windshields. There are several available.
Please do a search and you will find pics and reviews.

thanks Im aware of the discussions posted and participated in a few. I know of four manufactures offering windshields for the 1000F

1. MRA offers a sport and touring screen
2. Ermax
3. powerbronze
4. Puig.

Just my luck 2&3 have distributors in the US but i dont care for either offerings. I like both MRA and Puig but like i said cant find a US distributor to purchase and dont want to pay $$ for shipping.

Just venting

MRA Motorcycle Windshields | TwistedThrottle.com

That's who I ordered mine from.....The GSX-S1000F models may not be on their web site but that doesn't mean they can't order it for you....As for Puig, why don't you give Revzilla a call. After all, they do list a screen for the naked bike on their site.

sorry but I have to laugh out loud, Your bike is a Jap bike, not a Harley or a Buell, that means it ain't made in the US of A, and like most aftermarket parts these days they all come via China. as you dont live in China, you have to pay shipping, its called the Global Economy.

try living somewhere like Australia and then have a whinge about shipping and parts availability or the lack thereof..
sheesh some people's expectations.

So just going to say there are plenty of screens available for the GSXS, just not many that come with free shipping!

Just for your info about what the rest of the world pays, T-Rex Sliders posted from Texas to Sydney Australia, USD$160.00 (that equals $220 Aussie Koala's just on postage) that's the same price as the parts.....
