Question Weight Reduction, what we can do...

So our bikes are pretty heavy over 200kgs.

So basically what mods can do for weight reduction.

i would like to know the mods and average Kgs we can loose with each mod.

Battery 3Kg

any disadvantages ditching the evap system..?

a full titanium exhaust would be better i guess near 10 to 15 kg weight loss

Exhaust and wheels are the biggest places to save weight. Neither are cheap though.

Or go for a test ride on a Gsx650F and then ride your GSX-S1000.
You'll find it as easy as a snowflake.

No need to spend money for weight reduction.

I was going to say something like this. Get a heavier bike. Every time I pull the GSX-S out having been riding my FJR, the GSX-S is a tiny manic little toy that makes me grin like an idiot.

when people say my bike is heavy ...is that code for something...like 1000cc is to big or i bought the wrong bike ,600 would of been a better choice for me......lightest bike i ever owned...except for the DR 650.....but its so tall its very tall why so tall

Funny how we might spend hundreds to try to lighten the bike, but no one ever talks about less steaks, potatoes, french fries, ice cream, cake, etc.... Go on a diet!
