Dude, 3500 rpm in 6th gear is only 53 mph...you only do low 50's on the highway?

I get mid-48 mpg in town and also mid-48 on the highway at 75 mph, using the Ecstar 10w40 mineral oil the dealer put in at the 600 mile service.

I get about 42 mpg combined. I use Motul 300V. Front tire 32.5 psi rear tire at 37.5 psi. Heavy use of radar detector may be effecting my mileage!

I've averaged 4.8L/100km (that's 49 mpg) according to the dash info. That's a mix of highway and city but the vast majority of my mileage comes from cruising on secondary highways.

I run Rotella T6 5w40 synthetic

I feel that the use of throttle has way more effect on MPG than what grade of oil we use.

At 90mph my trip shows about 42 mpg in 6th,

My average over about 10k miles is about 50 MPG (imp) and I find it becomes more economical at the same speed when fully deep heated up, after an hours riding for example

Click on the fuelly link below. 22mpg was dyno and ECU flash day!
