Thank you. Had a look, and 37 sounds a bargain. However, when viewing the gallery for that pipe, the first photo it shows still has that ugly great box at the bottom of the bike attached. Not sure if that's the cat, but that's the part I want to get rid of with a link pipe.

If you look at the website gallery photo number 1547912816269 shows the close up and the motorised valve is still connected then goes straight through to the type of silencer can I am familiar with. Before the manufacturers started fitting the "turkey tray" catalyser/silencer combo.The Lextek pipe is not a decat but an adapter to use their end can I believe. Whats the score in the UK for MOT test, will the bike officially fail if it has no cat?

Thanks for that, basically confirms what I thought when I saw the photo I mentioned.

Not sure if having no cat is an MOT failure over here, it's not something that had even occurred to me tbh. I shouldn't imagine it would be though, plenty of cars and bikes don't have them.
