Hi all, I have a 2017 phantom nsked model and I have found this connector under the pillion seat, anyone know what its for, everthing works so I presume its for something.
I would test it to see if it's always hot or if it comes on with the ignition, etc. Out of curiosity I'd follow the line to see where it originates from. You just might have some kind of accessory plug. It looks like a common connector, I just don't know which one.
I've got the same connector looks like a black single wire. couldn't check it my as multi-meter has flat battery and blown fuse - poked it somewhere I shouldn't have!
I have the same one on my '18 - but it is connected. I would suggest it is either tail light, brake light or a turn signal. Check all your lights and you should find the issue.
Its a 2017 model and the connector is live and defo no female end to plug into, bizzare that its just hanging there, thought dealer mode switch plug looked bigger this is like a turn signal wire, buf everything works.
I looked at mine last night and didn't see any open connector. Seems like those who have it are outside the U.S. so could it be something to do with the immobilizer? We don't have that here. Mine is a 16 abs
2018 F, I put a meter on it. No volts with bike off. 8.6v with key on. And 11.6v with bike running.
It’s orange wire and white and black wires. It’s a square plug but the cup for it is two round looking thing.
Sorry ignore my last post I tested the wrong plug.
