F/S Carbon Fiber Heat Shield

Hi guys, I literally just bought this, but prefer to stick with my (painted) black stock shield. It has not even been taken out of the garage yet. The quality is truly gorgeous!

Once you add shipping on Tekarbon website, total comes to $150.

I'll sell for $110 shipped. Brand new.

Thank goodness he was both astute and quick before the slow and weak of willpower found this thread.

I don't think I've ever been called "astute" before in my life. I'm a sucker for Ti and CF bits. It's a cross over from my bicycling addiction. Thanks Rapido1! I'll post pics when I get it installed. I'm hoping it will look good with my Mivv Double Gun Ti slip-on.

I think some of my previous dealings would contradict your assessment.

The carbon is looking great Mike
But I must ask, what is the screen you are using? I donít recognise it and am thinking of replacing mine. Any extra protection from standard or is it just eutectics?

Thanks Beaker. The screen is a cheap ebay/china version that is about the same height as stock with a slight double bubble bulge in it.

I'm on my second one. Not because anything was wrong with the first one, in fact I liked it enough to try another in black.
It looks identical to these, but I don't remember who I bought mine from.
I'm not sure if it's really better than stock. Close enough that it could well be plecebo effect, but it works well for me (5'10").

Duuude! Do you think that was an improvement over the stock heat shield? Wow! And with the CF on the foot guards looks killer, excellent move! Good job Mike! A lot of bang for the buck! So much more "trick" than before, makes the Double Guns look even better.
