Yamaha going in the right direction but just not quite there yet for me. I think Suzuki with the GSXS put a lot more thought into the small points like keeping things nice and tidy, no loose cables or massive gaps at the front. Not keen on the transformer looking headlight cluster either, I also think they will regret putting the oil cooler way down there, just asking to be cracked by stones thrown up by the front wheel, the purists won't like the older style up swept silencer and certainly not when it is fixed to the rear foot peg. : - )
I am sure older R1 riders will have brand loyalty and go for it but I for one wouldn't be giving it envious glances if it pulled up next to my GSXS at the lights.
