Cures for GSXS1000. The bike was too high for my 5 foot 4 inches, so I bought a lowering kit from Lust Racing in the UK; an absolute winner an inexpensive., $Au 200 plus fitting. The throttle was dangerous , and the boosterplug fixed it, without all the bullshit of remapping $AU 200.The stanchion hanging down the back was ugly so a tail tidy from the UK fixed that AU$80. Heated grip filaments under the stock grips for $100 solved cold day riding. Suspension; initially a nightmare where every bump sent me skyward. The absolute answer was found in a video from Fastbikes magazine. Go to 1 minute 17 seconds the link :

Now the bike handles the bumpy roads beautifully; I screen-shot the card which the mechanic gave the interviewer which had all the settings. On the back, minimum preload, and half a click out for rebound. On the front take the preload right off and then have three rings showing. Rebound and compression five clicks out.
