hi from country NSW, Au

Hi everyone,

Purchased a Triton blue F last week, haven't picked it up yet, still have a week or two whilst things get fitted etc. cant wait to get it home!

So, any things I should be looking out for at delivery? I have already been saved from the Suzuki heated hand grips by reading here last night, anything else I should be aware off?

this will be my 2nd ever bike with the 1st being traded in on this one, besides the obvious power differences anything else relative new riders should be looking out for on this bike?

whats the run in on these like? i will more than likely be trailering the bike home from the dealership as its dead flat and straight roads @ 100kmh so I imagine it wouldn't be the best thing for a new engine that I plan on keeping for 7+ years.

thanks for the advice and happy riding!

Chappo

Just run it in smoothly with each gear, be careful of the new tyres being greasy for the first 100km or so (keep the traction control on) and gradually get used to the power. Don't go nuts from the get go. I've had not trouble with the throttle - others report it is overly sensitive. You'll notice in this forum that there are comparatively few threads with complaints about the bike (have a look at the MV Agusta forum by comparison), meaning it's a reliable bike with lots of fans. Enjoy.

Congratulations on the purchase, nothing really to look out for and just enjoy, if it's too snatchy get the throttle tamer and it will be fixed, as for the breakin I believe if you have some twisty roads in the area go and have some fun and you can really give it a good run in and a workout without even going over 5-6k revs
Enjoy

Congratulations, this is an awesome bike! As others have said, just take it easy, go slow, get to be one with your new machine, use common sense and you'll be fine.
