Hi everybody,
I thought Iíd introduce myself. 54 years old. Been riding since I was 10. However, itís been 3 1/2 years since Iíve owned a bike. Last bike was a Hyabusa with the usual upgrades, full yosh pipe, chip, zero gravity windscreen, various other stuff. Iíve also owned a KLR 650 (thumper), a bunch of older bikes; V65 Magna, V65 Sabre, Shadow, Vriago, the jewel was a Yamaha RD 350 p. It was a twin 2 stroke street bike.
I have 420 miles on the bike now, as of 6/10/18. Waiting on the first service. Iím adding a rear cargo bracket, hard case, crash sliders, case savers, fender eliminator, NO windscreen though. I ordered a full windscreen and cancelled it. Iíll wait two months and decide what I want. Smaller one if I can live with it. I have a small 20L tank bag also.
Some advice?
Mirrors? They protrude a few inches past the grips. I like to at least pull up to the red lights. I hate clipping mirrors.
I regretted doing remapping of the fuel injection on my Hyabusa. It ran a little rough between 80-110. Came alive after that. I never opened it all the way up but I went 185 at night. Bike did great.
Sorry for the book. I wonít post so long normally.
I live in So. Ca.

Welcome! I'm glad you like the bike. I'm still waiting for delivery, planning the add-ons. What kind of rear cargo bracket and hard case are you adding? Could you post some pics of them when you're done?

Good on you mate, one my last bikes was a Hayabusa, you will find this bike a little more nimble but nowhere near as fast and powerful as the old Busa. Good moderate power/speed but surprisingly easy to manoeuvre and ride.
Good luck with your new bike!
