New to sport bikes

Just purchased my new 2018 GSX S1000Y edition. First one I seen so I jumped on it before someone else got it. Never seen the Y edition anywhere else for sale.

Absolutely love this thing. It's my first 100% street bike and it scares the [email protected] out of me lol
Came from dual sport bikes before DR650 and a Husqvarna TR650.

Nice, you made an excellent choice!

I started on a DR650... DR650 then SV650, then R6, now GSX-S1000.

Welcome, being scared is a good thing. When you stop being scared, you start having to buy stuff to make it scary again and that gets expensive.

Do you still have a dual sport as well? Dual sports are cool too. Choices are even better. I like being able to choose which bike to take for my breakfast burrito run. Sometimes it's via asphalt...

Sometimes it's dirtier than that...

Either way I'm from Nova Scotia Canada.
