Hello from East Kilbride

Hi All,

picked up my GSX S1000 last Thursday from Saltire in Edinburgh (Red naked) .

Only the one run home to East Kilbride from Edinburgh so far. Weather not so great last couple of days.

Looking forward to a few run outs this week. Might need to leave the cycling to work for a day or two.

Tail tidy and screen ordered nothing else planned for now.

Lots of great info and opinions on the forum.

Welcome and enjoy. Given the amount of rain you get up there a tail tidy might not be the best idea.
There is a thread somewhere on the forum called "dirty back hugger time"
Just found the link, here you go - https://www.gsxs1000.org/forum/gsxs-1000-appearance-modifications/22281-dirty-back-hugger-time.html

Blue Naked 2015 ABS model. PCV, Nitron Ntr-1 shock, MRA screen(modified) Puig crash bungs, HEL lines and EBC-HH pads, job done. (Riding since 1959.)

Welcome to the forum, no wonder you dont do many wet motorbike miles in polomint city, the amoun of diesel spills you get on the main drags are horrendous.
Used to work in Parks at the whirlies in the 90's commuting in from Stonehouse. Could do it pretty quick but they have ruined that road now.

Certain people are like slinky's, no apparent use but always bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs

Your bang on about the roundabouts and diesel especially on the bus routes. Lethal even on the pushbike.

I'm at the opposite end of EK from Parks over in Westwood.
