I started with a FZ-07 in 2015-16. Traded that in for a 2009 Harley Dyna Low Rider because all my buddies had cruisers. Also, my wife really wanted to go on a few rides. So I caved... After a few years really missing the speed and handling (not scraping my foot pegs every time I rode somewhat aggressively), I started searching for something that was more my style of riding. After a couple weeks or so of research I found this forum, and read many posts regarding the bike. Really wanted the 2019, but I didn’t mind the blue and black at all. One trip to the dealership I was hooked. I emailed several dealerships regarding prices and they were eager to match/beat.
TLDR: 10k OTD with 5.5k toward my trade in. Title in Hand....
Welcome to the site; if you hunt around, you will find as I have, that most issues which arise with the bike are dealt with quite honestly on this site; my main issues have been starved fuel at low revs and difficulty with the throttle hitting bumps; I solved this with a boosterplug from Denmark. The next problem was suspension, the rear shock absorber really is a one size fits all but mainly if you're giant sized; so if you're normal weight it will pogo you all over the place. I solved that with $1.2 k spent on a rear wilbers 641 shock absorber. Given how reasonably priced the bike was to buy, having done that I have a fantastic motorcycle with the thrilling 2005 motor from the legendary GSXR1000 K5-K6 which according to Wikipedia is still, the fastest motorcycle ever made over 0 -100kph. Happy riding.
