Hello all

Greetings,
I live in Ventura, California
Licensed rider for 11 years
Have yet to pull the trigger but looking to step off the Harley and get something a little that excites me more.
Looking around I think I have found that in the GSX S1000
I figured I’d snoop around and see what owners are saying
Currently own 2008 1200XLN

Never had a Harley, but have had several cruisers. The GSXS is a blast to ride. Whole different ballgame!

Hi suzie,
Have you had a test ride?

Well Jeff, you should get a HD too.
It will be in for repair more day's than not. So it fits the bill of : " I like to own bikes that you don’t see on the road every day"
Rob.

Forgot to say a Big Welcome to Suzie, so Welcome and please join the banter.

Welcome Aboard Suzie
We're all slightly bias here obviously so I'd say go and get a test ride too.
The GSXS is lighter, better handling and easy to ride but it's not going to get too many people stopping in the street to take a look at it.
Go and have a go and see if you like it

Pull my finger

I have never had a Harley-Davidson in for repair only scheduled maintenance, clutch and tires, quite a bit of money in aftermarket mods that’s where Harley-Davidson is a money pit, Harley-Davidson is not the bike it was 30-40 years ago they are way more reliable.

I have already got insurance quotes, just need to see if they do right by me on a trade at the dealer. And I’m all in!

I think you will love it! It's just a beast when you want it to be, but very versatile and can do pretty mush anything.
