mike d Sounds like an unrelated issue, but... If you added a TPS check adapter, I would be inclined to check the connections closely. I actually work for a company that makes testers for wire harnesses and cable assemblies and it's amazing how many people don't test their products and ship harnesses with shorts and/or opens (I got one from Power Commander that I bought for my last bike).

Razorbak I just bought the 2016 GSX S1000 2 weeks ago already knowing about the TPS reset fix. I set it to 1.13v and she was perfect, couldn't ask for a better throttle response. Rode it to work last week and all was good.... now my TC light stays on in all modes. I went back to ck the voltage on the TPS and it was still on 1.13v. I can still adjust the TC positions but in all 4 positions the TC light is still on. Anybody run across this problem yet?

Fezwick G'day folks,
See my post https://www.gsxs1000.org/forum/367078-post6.html of yesterday.

I know it sounds to good to be true. A simple adjustment of the TPS without any special tools, electrical measuring devices and without going into service/dealer mode. I can confirm I consider my bike to be 99% (always room for improvement), did a 160km ride this morning to check I wasn't dreaming.

It's a different bike, can go down as low ad 45km/h in top gear and pull away S M O O T H L Y. No off/on throttle at all. It does have a little 'warble' when the throttle is completely closed from high rpm in low gears (from 140km in second gear) but not like it used to be. Still smiling 4 hours later.

Hope it helps fix other bikes as it has mine.

Regards, Fezwick

Simon W I never felt I had a problem with my throttle, sure it was a hair breadth between power and injectors off but I enjoyed the challenge of applying minute throttle controls. Steady speed and pick up were flawless.

Had a woolwich remap and shocked at how much effort i was putting in. Pulls tronger at all points. I miss the injectors off throttle cut deceleration at times and have had to adjust my riding again.

The woolwich flash increased power and torque everywhere and has changed the character of the bike .

Never been keen on bolt on electronic gizmo's and feel for just £315 with a full custom map and dyno time its a mod worth pursuing.

I am not very happy and will be selling as soon as I've paid it off.

You don't have to sell .. just get a reflash for a proper cure ...
