|ahmadasou||Its your exhaust value. They all do it and most obvious while cold. Its the actuator moving with the throttle as being cold it will have the auto chock open (rpm will read higher than 1000) try to have a listen next to the exhaust value when cols start|

Loud Ticking After Week Off
I just got my bike back from the guys who were fixing the rims. It sat for a week without being run, out in the elements of all flipping places.
I started the bike up and there was a decently loud ticking/tapping sound coming out of it... I asked one of their techs to listen and by the time he came out it was already warmed up and done making the sound. Anyone have any thoughts? The bike is in the garage cooling off, I am going to go see what happens when its been a few hours.
It was in roughly 1/4 second intervals. They said it might have been the sound of the bike moving the oil throughout the engine since it sat for a week.
Excellently enough my warranty was up 5 days ago so I have bike hypochondriasis.
