Could you show a pic of where it is bolted to under the seat?
Is there enough space between the seat and side rails for luggage straps from under the seat?

Is this what you fitted? Suzuki GSXS1000 (2015-2016) Grab Rail in Black - Grab Rails - Products

I ordered it on the 19th of Feb. It came in on the 28th of April. Had to be back ordered. Not a big deal. My big gripe is that the base tube is about 3 cm longer than it is in the marketing photos. Not a big deal but, it isn't as flush as it appears in the marketing photos. Having said that. Its sturdy and fitment took about 10 minutes. Still deciding if I want to cut the grab rail shorter or not.

The bar doesn't look out of place at all , how sturdy is it as it looks like it could be handy to tie a tent or small swag down to without scratching the plastics

it is super sturdy, I have been spinning the bike on the side stand with it. No bending or squeaks.
