That was a fantastic post! Thank you for sharing!

Absolutely incredibly cool, the most trick "state of the art" Moto GP factory bike in 1976, look at the narrow frame tubes, the small forks, brake rotors, rear shocks, tiny tires! Love the 4 staggered carbs!

And what these guys did on those bikes. Men were men, eh!? What a beast when they start it up, you can hear the raw power - no traction control, no electronics, just man and machine, compared with today's bikes it looks so rudimentary,

Do you know if there a video of them taking this restored bike to the track and running it? Would love to see it!

I used to love 2 strokes I actually owned a RG500 road bike that I purchased brand new back in the 80s.
That bike was a lot of fun I used to give it heaps thinking I'm on a GP bike lol.
I wish I kept it they fetch a lot of money these days.
If you look at my avatar that's my youngest son who is now 32 sitting on the old beast not a good pic sorry.

That's done it, I am going to have to get my old Grand Prix VHS tapes out now. Unfortunately they only go back to 1993.

Blue Naked 2015 ABS model. PCV, Nitron Ntr-1 shock, MRA screen(modified) Puig crash bungs, HEL lines and EBC-HH pads, job done. (Riding since 1959.)
