Arrow Akira Air or Ignition 2?

Hi Guys,
Do any of you own the Rev'it Akira jacket?
Jacket Akira Air Vintage - Urban - REV'IT!

I like the style but not so sure about the comfort. I'm thinking about the vintage air as a summer jacket so it would have to be rideable in 35+ Celsius, which honestly my perforated Alpinestars Celer cannot do - I'm basically cooking in it even with every vent unzipped.

As an alternative I'm also looking at the Rev'it Ignition 2, but I'm worried that it might be compromising too much of the safety that a leather jacket should provide.
Jacket Ignition 2 - Men - REV'IT!

I will appreciate any insights, experiences, opinions.

I have the Ignition jacket. Looks pretty good and flows a lot of air with the liner out. I used it from spring through the fall. I don't think you compromise much safety wise compared to a full leather jacket. With that said, it doesn't have the safety protection of a racing jacket....but then again it's designed to be that. The Akira looks very nice also. One difference I think might make a difference is that the collar on the Ignition can be snapped shut, whereas the Akira just zips up. Minor difference.

Stop bumping 2 year old threads. @ radiofun, this thread and other thread are clearly not needing responses at this point. just a friendly point of advice.

I have a Dainese air frame jacket, really good ventilation in hot weather, elbow and shoulder armour, 3 decent pockets and has a removable wind stopper inner lining for even greater ventilation
