Corbin Seat

It would appear some nice person got their bike to Corbin for us so we could all finally get a better seat. Corbin has brought out the gunfighter seat style. I'm not sure I care for the looks or the fact it may only be held on by the locking mechanism which seems to be flimsy on my bike anyways. I'd love to hear if someone has one yet to get a comfort review and reassure me it's held on well enough. I'd also like to hear what you guys think of it? It's on the Corbin website.

That looks very comfortable. . I am not sure that much comfort is appropriate on this type of bike.

And it looks really thick. Also I am not sure leather would be the ideal material today.

Kind of ugly. Might be nice for touring, a bit plush looking for every day.

Needs ape hangers and foot boards to finish the job!
Rusty likes this.

I know nothing and welcome the opportunity to share my knowledge with anyone crazy enough to take it

****, wish I'd have held off on the Saddlemen, never liked the look of any Corbin I've seen, but have loved the ride of every one I've been on.

They do vinyl as well, lots of variability in patterns colors and textures for leathers and vinyls. Basically you build out a custom seat to that pattern when you order it.

I am debating ordering the gunfighter and lady version to be honest. I don't like the look but I hate the stock seat comfort lol

I'm sure the comfort is great, but to me it sure looks like they took a seat off of a cruiser and slapped it on the Gsxs. That being said, if I consistently used my bike as a tourer, it might be necessary. Doubt it though. lol

Next you'll be covering it with a sheepskin.

The one they show on their site is actually all vinyl. I had one made a long time ago for my Honda Magna 750, and it was all vinyl too. It was a really nice, comfortable seat, but Corbin's communication at that time (2003), could have been a lot better.

For me the seat is ugly but the stock seat is total garbage. I do wish Corbin did a better job like they did on my busa or gsxr 1000. I've got to do something though if I plan on keeping this bike. It's not fast so it may as well be comfortable lol
