Garage
I was offered 3 options to finance 0% for 36, 2.99% for 48 or 3.99% for 60 with no money down for my '16 in April. BUT... These comparos on price differ so much on where you live and inventory and probably a hundred other things.

Before taxes that is not that a great price. Go for the 2016, however your dealership sounds like typical thieving pricks.

OK may be different but the rest of world considers OTD to include taxes and title. It doesn't literally mean the price to get the bike physically out of the actual dealer's building.

Can't go wrong with either. I love my '16 but wouldn't mind an '18 either.

Stromer, the dealers here in OK always consider OTD to be only what is owed to them which does not include tax and title.

Let us know what you end up with.

By the way, the 2018 is updated for the U.S. model. It now has the same engine update, slipper clutch and cosmetic updates that the overseas models got last year... up about 7-10 horsepower, slipper clutch, black levers and foot controls, tinted windscreen.

Thanks!
Got my 2016 at Action Powersports in Tulsa for $8500 "OTD" last winter. Standard (non-F) w/ ABS. I think you can do better especially on a 2016 leftover. I would just go after the 2018 and whittle them down. Get quotes on the FZ-10 as well and try to leverage them. I wouldn't pay more than 9500 for a faired 2018. If that fails just play the winter waiting game unless you plan on doing a lot of riding for the amount of season we still have left.

I don't put much stock in reported OTD pricing. While it seems pretty straightforward on the surface, there are many different definitions of OTD, and tax, title and licensing can be very different depending on location. In one case an OTD price reported was after a trade-in and only mentioned after the low price was questioned. Shop around, and then make the best deal on what you can afford that makes you happy.
