Tightening torque
Clutch cover bolt (a): 10 N∑m (1.0 kgf-m, 7.5 lbf-ft)

Same for the left side.

1st service?

Hi guys new to the forum and this bike. Havent bought a service manual yet, can anyone tell me if there is a valve or shim adjustment done on the first service as per the manual?

Your Owners Manual has a chart showing the maintenance timings, so have a read.
My answer would be 'not required' at the 600 M/1000 km first service.
My GSX-S1000 did not have that requirement. The only bike that I owned where this was suggested was the original year Bandit 1250 where Suzuki suggested it rather than mandated it.
If you Dealer is suggesting this, it's a con job on you.

No. Inspection is recommended every 15,000 miles (24,000 km).

would the torque specs for installing a aftermarket exhaust be the same as the on the gsx-s1000
