Lifting the tank

I just picked up a naked (A model?). I want to lift the fuel tank up so I need to remove the two radiator shrouds and the fuel tank top cover. Do the radiator shrouds come off before the top fuel tank cover? I think so but I'm not sure how to get the shroud off. I found one plastic clip on the bottom of the shroud right near the radiator, one hex key screw near the tank, and the push grommet on the side. Still doesn't want to slide out, I must be missing something somewhere.

you'll have to take off the side fenders covering the radiator, then the top plastic in the top front of the tank, then the black side plastics under your knees

Alright yeah I figured it out right after I posted this. I have to say, trim pieces being partially held on by velcro is new to me, LOL.

Be careful at the top of the shroud where it attaches to the tank cover. These are held together through interlocking tabs that break easily. Squeeze the top and bottom sides together to detach this.

The solution is almost always more throttle!

If you curl your fingers around the pointed parts of the fairing at the location of each of the 'pins' as per the picture and lever away from the bike, they will pop out, then slide / wiggle the whole fairing forwards towards the front of the bike.
