Reservoir repair for contact with legs

Hi All,
I'm Italian and I'm riding this beast since 2 weeks. My aim is to repair the reservoir from the continuos contact of my long legs (I'm 193cm tall).
Do you suggest some proper stickers or to leave the situation as it is.
I'd appreciate your answer

Do you mean the petrol tank. Have your knees been rubbing the tank?

If it is the tank, then getting some grips can help. I got the R&G traction grip for mine.

Is it something automotive polish would fix? I feel like the solutions are either to polish it out, or cover it with stick-on tank guards.

You can polish the area with an automotive polish, then put a traction pad over top to prevent it from happening again.
Stomp Grip makes universal pads (don't think they have one fitted for the GSX-S1000 yet)
http://www.stompgrip.com/shop/powers...bike/universal
The advantage of the Stomp Grip is that they have a clear option. The disadvantage is that all of their materials are very gripy and can be annoying on the street.

Tech Spec does have a kit for the GSX, but they only come in black.
SUZUKI GSX S 1000 / GSX S 1000F *(2016) Tank Grip Pads - SUZUKI - Motorcycles
The advantage of the Tech Spec is that they have a model that isn't very sticky, if you prefer that. Unfortunately, every option is black.
