Your the second person I've seen here with that issue. If you have the coo then your in service mode. Of you don't have the line to the left you may have to set via the multimeter method or have a dealer look at it. I wonder if the newer ecu has removed that feature?
Your supposed to warm the bike up and then shut it off and Che k with ignition on only was my understanding.
It moves up when you turn the throttle.
It doesn't matter what it is with it switched off, if its middle while running its middle while off. it is supposed to be middle then blip and should go up. I found this a bit of a pointless method because even when set right it is not within spec, when you use the test harness and multimeter, which is far more accurate. A tiny amount out makes a big difference.
