Healtech Servo Eliminator ....

Hello Guys,
last week i mount a new BMC FIlter and the Dominator decat then on the dashboard appear the error "FI" so i was thinking to buy the Healtech Servo Eliminator to delete the error but i read on various post that if i install the Healtech Servo Eliminator on my GSX S1000 Year 2018 will not delete the error ...is it true? if it is true what you advice me to delete the error message ? remap the ECU or else (in my place i do not know if they can remap the ECU)?

Could you detach the cables from the valve but leave the motor in place and running?
This would trick the ECU into thinking all is well and it's happy days.
The woolich software will certainly do the job though a cheaper alternative might be the healtech OBD tool.
I'm not certain but i believe you can disable codes just as well with the healtech.

The obd diagnostic tool would be more useful as you can use it to diagnose and remove all kinds of error codes in the future.

However, it depends on the year of the bike. I have the OBD tool for my 2016 Bandit - and it works great. However it will not work on my 2018 GSX-S (see below). Will get the updated OBD next Spring when it comes out.

Thank you for the email.
The 2017+ Suzuki bikes use the SDS-II protocol which is not compatible with our tool, unfortunately.
You can check the OBD-S01 application list here:

FYI we plan to update/revise the complete OBD tool line next year and that is when new models will be supported.

I'm not certain but i believe you can disable codes just as well with the healtech.
You can do that, but the servo motor will overclock and eventually fail, causing the FI light to come on again. The only permanent fix would be the servo eliminator. If the code causing the FI light is caused by the servo eliminator being disconnected, the Healtech servo eliminator will remove the FI light warning from the meter. If there are any other codes stored that are not related to the servo, they will still cause the FI light to come on.

You're best off checking the codes by jumping the diagnostic plug and reading the code. no need for a scan tool. I have done this on my '12 gsx-r1000 but not the gsxs, i assume the readouts are close to the same. IIRC, C00 is the code for no stored malfunctions. C46 is the exhaust servo malfunction code. That should show up on the dash when you jump the pins and put the bike into dealer mode.
