This fell out while tapping rear axel out

Where does this go? It dropped out while tapping my rear axel out 😞

It looks about the right size for the wheel sensor that you should have disconnected, is that still attached as it should be?
Edit: I should say, in one piece as it should be

Same thing happened to me.
It's a dowel (locating pin) for the aluminium bracket that the ABS sensor itself fits into.

Isn't the bracket itself floating and move with the axle. What does it locate?

Mine fell out the first tire change I did. I just looked around and easily spotted where it came from.

It doesn't locate the sensor but the bracket holding the sensor Item 15.
