Stupid question?

Why does only one headlight burn while riding? My right side (looking at bike) burns all the time when the key is turned on, but the left side only works when hitting the high beams. I have owned Harleys, Hondas, Kawasakis, & BMWs, and on all of them both headlight bulbs burned when riding. Is this a Suzuki thing or is does my brand new bike need service?

Just one more reason why I prefer the naked version.

Blue Naked 2015 ABS model. PCV, Nitron Ntr-1 shock, MRA screen(modified) Puig crash bungs, HEL lines and EBC-HH pads, job done. (Riding since 1959.)

I usually ride with both lights on but this fix looks interesting.
