Stock exhaust can cosmetic mod

Got a wild hair yesterday and using liquid/gel stripper ,removed the gold metallic paint from the end cap of the exhaust can. I took it off first of course. Then took some light scotch-brite and metal polish and put a nice semi gloss finish to it. Looks way better IMO than the two tone look from factory. Also pinstriped the NISSIN lettering on the rear caliper in red/pinkish, which was a tedious operation but came out nice. And lastly ,I removed and stripped the black paint from the rear set footrest brackets and ended up with a satin silver finish. I left the pegs black. Looks better IMO as it provides some visual balance to the all blacked out features of the frame and fixtures. Been rained in for two days and counting down here so it seemed like a good time for nit picking.

Pics??

Certain people are like slinky's, no apparent use but always bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs

I'll give it a try soon ....I'm pretty lame at posting pics. I'll try by tomorrow as the bike is all crammed into the poorly lit garage at the moment avoiding flood warnings.

Quite amusing as a few of us with earlier.bikes have powder coated the rear sets black as we didn't like the Silver.

Variety is the spice of life!
