The tinkering has begun

Hi all.
I've just added some Puig levers, Renthal grips and some R&G bobbins.
It's already got a Puig double bubble I bought a few months ago.

The grips were the hardest thing to do and I didn't realise until the hair lacquer had set that there isn't a lip inside the grip to lip over those **** ridges on the throttle tube.
I might have to see about taking it off and cutting the ridges down, I'll see how it feels 1st when I ride her.

This is the only one I can find from Puig, which is what I have.

But I know I've seen what's pictured, somewhere, as I almost bought it, instead. Maybe I'm thinking of an MRA one?

Anyways, I'm interested in knowing too!

I have that one too, it's for the Naked.. Oggie1 has an "F".

Blue Naked 2015 ABS model. PCV, Nitron Ntr-1 shock, MRA screen(modified) Puig crash bungs, HEL lines and EBC-HH pads, job done. (Riding since 1959.)

That would explain why I couldn't find it 🤣 and I found the other one I was thinking of, definitely Mra that I was confusing it with.

Cool! Thanks for the update! I'm going to check them out, I kind of like how your screen looks, might look into ones for the naked. Does it function well?

Yes it works great, better than I thought to be honest.
It did used to have a Puig touring screen, the photo is from the day I picked her up.
The Puig was absolutely brilliant but did cause a bit of turbulence around my kneck.
I only swapped for the Power Bronze for looks to be honest and was pleasantly surprised at how well protected I am behind it.
I would say it's better than the touring screen, although there is some wind blast on my shoulders this time.
I'm 6ft and the screen is quite small so didn't think it would protect me as much as it does

Good look hunting for one. To be honest I haven't looked for one for the naked so can't advise

Cool! Thanks a lot for the update. I'm the same height, and the Puig I have does a good job, but I feel the wind buffeting my head a bit. Mostly it's wind noise that gets me though, hence my curiosity. And, at least on yours, power bronze looks nice too!
