So she went in for her first service today, apparently it was supposed to be a 2hr job but suzuki haven't issued the worksheet for it so they did a standard ltr superbike 1st service on it seeing as it's basically the same engine and bike parts. Also had the recall part fitted to the rad hose. Now i can unleash the pony's >> next job is to order the tail tidy and HM quickshifter

Isn't that free? Every other bike I've had, including my 2010 Suzuki M109 first service was free! Do I need to pay for this one?

1st service is not free. $340 for the F in Peter Stevens Melbourne. Naked should be a little cheaper. Maybe?? If you want Motul then you pay more. I pretty much got mine free with a deal they done when I bought it though.

Mine booked in for 1000k service on Friday, they told me it will cost $250. First time I've had to pay for 1000 k service

That sounds a bit steep for an oil change and look over. Did they itemise the work?

$255.50 at the local suzuki dealership. Job done.

I got mine 1000K service done for $65US in Hong Kong

Labour is free but they charged £55 for the oil & filter

A lot cheaper here in the Czech Rebublic. Ist service, Motul oil and the recall work all done for 1625Czk that's about £44 or $69 US. Happy days )

That equates to £116 ish. My MV 800 first service last year was £210 just for an oil and filter. I hope the UK first service at 600 miles is only £100 ish. It should be bloody free though like most car first checks at a 1000 miles, Peugeot do.

I paid £42 last week for the 600 mile service . Even adjusted me mirrors !

There is nothing to it.... Save your money and do it yourself.

It's not that most people cannot complete the service it's more about the 2 year waranty .

If you completed it yourself in England then any future warranty claim may be void within the 2 year period !?
