I see. Here we only get a one-year warrant but have a piece of federal law called the Magnuson-Moss Warranty act. It prevents a warrantor from mandating that you must you their service or parts and if they deny a warranty claim the burden is on them to prove what you did caused the problem. It's not that most people cannot complete the service it's more about the 2 year waranty .
If you completed it yourself in England then any future warranty claim may be void within the 2 year period !?
A big problem from doing the service or a big problem in general? I can't see having a "big problem" from changing the oil, looking at hoses and brakes and checking torque on some bolts and screws....and if you a big problem...who will pay??

D-n. I think I will have to visit Belgium just to get the bike serviced. I had to pay 340€. The difference 240€ will almost take me there and back again. My first service at 1000 km was a bit less then 100€ and the recall parts were done at the same time. I have signed my purchase of Suzy in January at the Belgian motorshow and I received a 4 year guarantee for that with an assitance coverage. At the same time we could have a loan at 0% rate
That's pretty cheap compared to what I paid. Do you know what oil they used?First service completed. $199aud at the dealership. Pretty happy with that.
Pic?Had my first service done yesterday. While there I had my yoshimura titanium blue flame exhaust fitted. I know these "big" exhausts are not in vogue at min but importantly I like shiny big exhausts lol.![]()
