Some insight on pricing from Motorcycle.com
Speaking of the V-Strom, Suzuki traditionally undercuts the competition price-wise, so we expect this one to be the Naked Bike for the Masses!, and to sell for at least a couple g’s less than the current model, $13,899 GSX-R1000. We’ll guess an $11,999 MSRP to match the Kawi Z1000.
Good point. That would be a good thing to do to further better their chances.Thats a fair assumption, however I'll do one better and say they can get to $10,999. If their goal is undercutting rivals at least. Ostensibly it should be more than possible, the GSXR 1000 is an old bike, its been well amortised, there should be no excuse for losing on price....
Motorcycle.com is a reliable source for the most part... I have a feeling gsxs100 pricing will around what they mentioned it to be.Some insight on pricing from Motorcycle.com
Please, please, please let 2014 be a good year for Suzuki, God knows it needs a break. The big news will be the naked GSX-R1000, or GSX-S1000 as it is being called. Expect traction control, ABS and a price tag below £10,000. Those wanting a new GSX-R model will be left disappointed, there may be a few basic tweaks, but that's about it. Another possibility is the GSX-R125, but again, this has been rumoured for so many years it seems unlikely to ever actually appear!
