2016 F model headlight aiming issue.

I recently noticed that both headlights were aimed too low. I adjusted them up too much and now they won't come back down enough. They move down a little and then the adjustment screw just turns.

Suzuki changed the part number for the 2017 and newer models. I wonder if I discovered the reason for the update?

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Uh oh, that worries me because my 2016 F also has headlights pointed too low. I haven't tried to aim them higher yet but I was going to do so this weekend.
My guess is that you'll be fine as long as you make multiple small changes.
I'm going to remove my headlight assembly and figure out how the adjustment mechanism works. Probably won't do it for a week or two.
Well...I'm an idiot, but at least I'm a happy idiot. I wasn't always turning the correct adjustment bolt. My headlights are aimed correctly now.

As my mom would say...Nevermind...

I finally got around to adjusting my headlights (F model) and it was strangely difficult. I do have the shop manual and conceptually it is simple, but getting the proper socket wrench into the confined space without being able to see, while the handlebars have to be pointed just so, is difficult. And once I was able to get the wrench on there, the range of movement was tiny. However, doing it once makes it easy.

I used the 1/4 inch deep socket 8mm from this set I bought a few weeks earlier which unfortunately went up $100 or so since.

Both headlight (high beam and low beam) are apparently the same, and adjust in the same direction. Top right screw adjusts vertically, bottom left screw adjusts horizontally. I set the high and low beams to the same height, and crossed them slightly for more coverage, so I guess I technically no longer have high beams. I do a lot of night riding and find that having both beams on but pointed nearly parallel works best so long as the top cut-off is sharp enough as to not blind people in low cars.
