OK what am I doing wrong?
Bike warmed up
Ignition on bike not running
2 pins opposite each other in diagnostics plug bridged

I am getting C00 on my dash where the trip normaly is but no line next to C00 to reference where my tps adjustment is?

What have I not done or missed? ... Done a search on the forum but there's no diffinetive Diy or sticky how to.

Thanks in advance

Your the second person I've seen here with that issue. If you have the coo then your in service mode. Of you don't have the line to the left you may have to set via the multimeter method or have a dealer look at it. I wonder if the newer ecu has removed that feature?

Your supposed to warm the bike up and then shut it off and Che k with ignition on only was my understanding.
It moves up when you turn the throttle.

It doesn't matter what it is with it switched off, if its middle while running its middle while off. it is supposed to be middle then blip and should go up. I found this a bit of a pointless method because even when set right it is not within spec, when you use the test harness and multimeter, which is far more accurate. A tiny amount out makes a big difference.

Another cause of no line in the C00 on dealer mode is if the TPS is out of scope. Loosen the Torx and move the TPS up and down until you see the line. Did you try that?

I also have the C00 but no line on my faL8. Tried moving my tps but no line appears.

Tbh the line is pretty meaningless anyway, check the tps using the harness using a multimeter and forget.

mine is middle at idle, goes up at 1500, is that ok?
Sounds ok, as I said you need to check the voltage to be sure. It can still show that but not be within range, it's more of a setup guide to get it running then fine adjustment after.

I was told by my dealer that they checked with Suzuki and the dash TPS set up is no longer on the AL8. They set it up om Suzuki instructions on laptop. Only way to do it on latest bikes apparently. Until someone clever works out how.

Remember the Tread 'Suzuki is Listening" - well seem like that are.
They must know we are onto their 'easy' method on TPS set up, the Workshops are losing money when the Owners can fix it themselves for free.

" Ah So, We stuff the TPS by a bit at the Factory to help Dealer San's with Workshop profit, BUT this Owners Forum found out how to fix "
"Must find a new way !"
"Just delete the line; that will fix them - start with AL8 "
" Then they use Kawa Patch Lead and Voltmeter "
" For AL9, Reprogram the ECU with new Voltages & CAN Bus Digital Code !!!! "
" Cheering Banzai loudly "
