Tis the season for new bike announcements! I'm personally looking forward to what Honda brings to the party in the new CBR/Fireblade in an already stacked superbike category. What kind of Kawi Z series bike is getting a supercharger. looking forward to the ride reports on the Triumpph rocket 3!

"Oh yea... and comes in this badass color scheme.
I like it... a lot!>:D"
Sorry, NO matte colour's for this Old Codger. It's all your's Mike.
Soon as I saw that story and pic's elsewhere, I felt cheated by Honda again.

I was seriously considering between a couple of Honda 500's, the X and F, last week. Both have that matte gunpowder black metallic. That matte colour finished them for me.
Then I trotted around to the Yam Shop to look at a T Max 530, sorry Rob, only in a matte blue.

Looked at Ducati 1100 Scrambler Sport, but only in matte black, but its a very dark matte black.
Why all this matte stuff ?
Did the USAF order too many drum's from Dupont for the B1 Bombers Squadron's ?

Rob.

I guess it's a long established bike with a motor that cannot meet Euro 5 now. Ninja ZX14R perhaps ? It's very long in the tooth today.

Lots of rumors saying its a naked bike of some sort. Some think small displacement, some are saying naked H2... or z1000.. Doesn't really matter to me, as I'm not in the market, but I love motorcycles, so I'm anxiously waiting to see what happens.

I would be a buyer for a Z1000 supercharged depending on pricing

Great machine for what's built for , I knew a guy who had one I didn't get to ride it but I sat on it. It's tall and it felt top heavy it's a made for a big guy. I'm 5'10 and I was tippy toeing it. If I was looking for this style of machine I would buy this over a KTM... but that's me

Great bike. Got a 2017 (my old xr's colors/ white ,red & blue) last Christmas for a good price (12,600 out the door). Did place stiffer springs at front due to hard desert off road (stock are a bit soft).
This thing is like a XR on extreme steroids (even single track capable). But to my self, nothing like an inline 4 for the highway.

Best Regards. Happy trails/riding Mike!

Whole different animal than the GXS 1000's. Aren't they all automatic transmissions? The spokes on the wheels tells you what it's made for. I spoke to the Honda folks at Americade last year and asked them what they will be offering in the sport touring area and they said nothing and tried to steer me to the Africa Twin. If I were considering a bike like this I would opt for the BMW S1000R. That is if money were no object. I did test ride one once and it felt squishy and top heavy. I think the fun factor on the B roads would be reduced significantly with a bike like this.

As of right now I will be buying one to replace my 2017 DCT. From what I am seeing my Ohlins suspension is a direct bolt on to the base 2020 model. I plan to buy the 2020 and add my current Ohlins forks and rear shock (refreshed) to the 2020. I have no use for the electronic suspension model. I will most likely go back with another DCT model in the base as well. Really like the DCT in its current setup and I know with a IMU added like the 2020 will have it will get even better.

I like these, but the new Triumph 900's just got announced, and that green/white that shouldn't look good really does look good. When the GSX-S is paid off, I'm thinking something newer to get dirty on, looks like it's going to be quite the tasty buffet.

Those look great, but I still think I'd lean towards the new Yamaha Tenere 700 if I was looking for a new adventure machine. ;)

Those are nice too, and I'd like to give one a try. There's a lot to like in the middle weight ADV category now. I like the KTM 790 adventure as well, not to mention the offerings from BMW. I feel like I need some demo days.
