Getting anew bike?

Yes, I've been doing more and more long distance rides lately and I'd like something that's more comfortable at highway speeds for extended periods of time. I had a Hayabusa for a couple years, and believe it or not, that bike was very comfortable on long rides, so I might look into getting another one. I added the Puig windscreen to the GSX-S and it helped, but not enough over longer distances.

Here's a link to a video of the headlight while it was out having the LED projector retrofit installed. The difference in light output, visibility, clarity, color, and appearance between this and the original halogen headlight is night and day. It retains high and low beam functions and is operated from the factory switches just like stock. It was fit into the OEM housing (not a cheap aftermarket housing) and there were no modifications made to the wiring. It's a completely plug and play system and while it certainly wasn't inexpensive, it's one of the best upgrades possible, IMO.

I do think I've priced it fairly. It's the latest model year available for those interested in this generation. Plus, it has what I would consider to be low mileage and it's in better condition now then it was the day I bought it new. Not to mention, I've spent around $4k on upgrades, all of which are included. It's the perfect opportunity for someone to pick up a great performing and very well cared for bike that's 100% turn key and ready to ride.

And for those who may not want all the modifications, it wouldn't be difficult to return it to stock in a weekend's time, sell off the aftermarket parts, and recoup a couple thousand dollars of what they paid, bringing the price down considerably.

Since posting this listing, I've been riding the bike as the weather permitted and the current mileage is 3,852. It's now been prepped and put away for the winter season. It's stored in my house garage which stays fairly warm and relatively temperature consistent throughout the winter.

Both tires are aired up and kept off the ground with the bike sitting on front and rear stands, along with all fluids having been topped off and a full tank of 93 octane (premium) ethanol-free fuel with winter blend fuel stabilizer added. The full tank of ethanol-free fuel prevents any moisture from accumulating in the fuel system while being stored during the winter months.

This bike really has been treated very well and it shows in how it looks and performs. It's going to be difficult seeing it parked there in the garage every day and not being able to get out and go for a ride!

Thanks for the information. I'm really not in any rush to sell it. Just continuing to post pertinent information for anyone who may be interested while it's listed here. Being that it's the end of the riding season for many of us, I suspect there aren't a lot of people looking to buy a bike right now. If it hasn't sold by the time spring rolls around, I may list it in a few other places where there's more traffic and a larger market of potential buyers.

Mate I used to own a busa 07 model and they are a great bike for sure.
One thing with the busa to make it more comfy is to fit buell foot pegs so your legs will be in a more relaxed riding position.

Not all of us are living paycheck to paycheck, bud. If I was worried about getting the money I spent on the mods back I would have never done them in the first place, but I couldn't care less. I set the bike up the way I wanted it and now I'm moving on to another project which I'll probably spend twice as much on and not lose a minute of sleep. I'm just glad someone will get a super clean bike with bunch of free mods.

BTW, you really need to get a life. You come across as a whiny little loser in pretty much every post you make and I'm not the only one who notices it. Try getting out of your Mom's basement and living a little. Maybe try getting yourself a girlfriend or a boyfriend or something. 😉
