What's folks opinions on bikes like this, the S1000, with ABS? Would you only look at bikes that had ABS when browsing the used bike market?
Please don't turn this into a debate on the merits of ABS. Personally, I'm not bothered by it and would rather save the (approx) £500 but if it makes it much harder to sell then I'd get it. So, what's your personal thoughts on this and also what do feel about what the current/future market would want too?

go for it, I see you denoted the 500 in pounds, as I'm sure you know Europe is about to have mandatory ABS laws coming into effect. IMO ABS will get you a quicker sale in the future.

If you're going for out and out resale value and hoping to sell to a die hard enthusiast/traditionalist who abhors ABS, then yea don't do it...

I personally say do it, you'll probably get a break on insurance as well...

I second Gingers comments, and i hope that if you decide against an ABS model that you never ever need it.
