Just got my GSX-S 1000A today and I am really impressed. Sold my GSXR 750 K8 and I am well happy with that decision. Lovely bike and well done Suzuki.

Welcome mate. I am in the prior same position you were in. Currently got a GSXR750 k8 and debating about the gsxs1000. How do you find the performance differences?, acceleration, 3rd gear pull etc.
I have had a go at easter but in severe heavy rain/wind, so still undecided. However, another test ride coming up on the 25th (hoping its really dry) to get a proper idea and hopefully make my mind up.

I was going for the Tuono before Suzuki released the GSXS. My last three bikes have all been suzukies and never had one single problem so stuck with brand loyalty. Being a naked you have the instant sensation of speed probably feels faster than it is but it certainly puts a smile on your face. Much easier on the arms, back and shoulders. Pulls steadily in every gear. If you work the box it takes off at a rapid rate of knots. The engine is fantastic and just wants to go the sound from the stock exhaust is best I have heard though. Bottom line I am really happy. Loved my K8 but my old bones were moaning. I 'm 52.

I have been to Prague and Brno a couple of times on my bike to see the Motogp.
I had a great time and the beer was quite good as well.

I live about 40 mins from Brno but I am more of a WSB guy than motogp. The beer is good I must agree.
