All posts should have a level of moderation to keep the smpammers and trolls at bay.
Not sure how it works on this site though, I posted something ages ago about an exhaust and I had a message to say that it would displayed after it had been verified by a moderator.... needless to say that it was never displayed! I've never seen the same message on any of my posts since... maybe something in the content of my post triggered the message.
Only the almighty one will know I guess!....I was only trying to reply to an existing post regarding lumberjacks new ecu....as far as I recall my words were innocent enough (my tourettes hasn't woken up yet).....that's pretty lousy though that one of your efforts never saw the light of day!
Happened to me too. All I did was post a link to another bike site which a friend of mine had written a review about Mitas tyres.
He's a top bloke and UK 2014 CRMC Post classic Superbike champion and I respect his opinion and thought it would be good info for all of us on here.
Needless to say, it was blocked????
It's started to bite me again hard Admin.
A reply to another's post Yesterday, and Today a new thread I started in Other Bikes Discussion - Suzuki GSXS1000 Forum, has that 'non viewable' posting statement of requiring a Moderator's OK before its public viewing.
Please see if there is site issue that needs a tinkering with.
I had the same problem and it was a post that I had cut and paste a couple of links into.
The links were not attached using the "insert link" icon at the top of the post editor. I chalked it up to that, although it may have been the link location too, because it was to some other posts in mc forums. I re-posted without the links and it posted immediately, so I think that's the issue. I'm sure it's automated so I'm not sure if the cause is a url blacklist, or url links not wrapped in html or what.
Yes Mike, you are probably on the right track as my post (and the second repost straight after) had the blue URL of a site that I included.
But I has happened occasionally without any links as well, and reposted it goes in normally.
I suppose Chicago AJ gets a few referred to him as he is our only moderator.
I know from experience, that copy and pasting from a saved email has problems with font size.
The Todays new thread post that I copied and saved into an email for a later post, will post here with a font about half size.
So I double checked the anti-Spam measures on the site, and one tool had it's minimum post count parameters removed. Which means all posts were getting scanned instead of just the first few from a new user. I've reapplied the limit and this issue should be gone now.
Approved your post. Let me know if you find it's continuing to happen.
